Here are some of my favorite scriptures for suffering.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those

who love God, to those who are the called

according to His purpose.

Psalm 30:5

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

2 Samuel 22L2

The Lord is my rock and my fortress

and my deliverer: the God of my strength

in whom I will trust.

Psalm 119:50

This is my comfort in my affliction,

For Your word has given me life.

James 5:13

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.

I know what you are talking about... I hope to read the Bible over and over until it becomes easily to quote from etc. You do learn from your sufferings... life only easy is boring and you don't grow as much from easy times.
