"Info on the "Friends" DVD set box..."

Well, it seems that at one point Warner Brothers had a special offer to get the box for $20. Though it seems as if now they are all out of them and say they will not be making any more. If I were you I would check out Ebay. You can usually find stuff like that there.

"Once I picked up the season 10 set, I found a slip inside so I could order the box separately, which they're charging $20 for. That felt like a slap in the face. They should have let you mail in $5 and all of your proof-of-purchases to acquire this collector's box.
What makes me upset is that I've been buying each Friends box as soon as it was released, now I'm asked to pay an additional $20 to get the collector's box. Buying the ten seasons separately cost me $340 and these people who held out until now are getting it for half price with the collector's box. The least they could do is cater to us fans who have been buying the DVDs all along."

2/21/06 - "Same here. I got my letter returned and now I hate Warner Bros. They should have realized how popular the series was. It was number one for the majority of the show's run and the DVD sets have been selling pretty well. It's stupid to have made an offer with such a limited inventory. What happens when people who sent in their check decide that they don't want to wait for the box, and the people who still want the box have no way of getting it because they got their letter back saying inventory was exhausted. Warner Bros has the worst organization skills ever, seriously look at their websites, all of them suck. They have awful planning. I'm not so happy with this collector's box set offer as you can see. Thanks for reading my "rant". It's good for those of you who got it, you are very lucky."
