"don't want to see either!"

A lot of people here probably would not remember, but the most incredible films of earlier did not show these acts, but implied them, thereby leaving a great deal to the viewer's imagination.  Ever so much more effective than simple shock value today.

And I really do miss the family entertainment which was not dependant on people being shot down with crude humor.

We don't watch much TV anymore at all.  Not interested in violence, sex, crudities, 'reality,' etc.  It appears to be part of a feedback cycle in the real world -- and if it does not stop we will have  totally destroyed our entire culture from the inside out.

"I think sex on TV makes people look like animals and that it is necessary. In real life someone would feel bad..."

then if they are not in a relationship and not doing this. I think, it is overdone to the point of it being sickening to see it. It is misused for selling things etc. Everyone thinks they have to be big chested to get a guy. I would not want to see either on TV. Sex is not the same as love always and violence teaches violence.

"I'm a little stunned, as far as I remember there is mostly skin shown but no sex! The Puritan watch group sees to that!"

Then again I have lived in Europe for almost 30 yrs where the Puritans would go blind if they turned the tv on.     I believe that most Americans, there are other Nations aswell, could care either way it’s those few that are always imposing their ways and mind set to the majority. It’s these individuals that think they are protecting children from what they already know.

No there is not too much sex on TV.

It's a known fact that sex and violence go hand in hand, the tough guy usually gets the girls and the next scene theres sexual activity. There are times a good heart warming movie is all I want to watch or comedies it's action movies that  get the blood pumping as I root the good guy on.

I would rather watch a good action movie with violence!

but it doesn’t offend me, personally but I do think that it is very difficult to have children in the house and try to flip channels without having to feel embarassed or explain something that I don’t want to explain.  It seems offensive that some members of the house have to close their eyes just to get to a safe channel...you know what I mean?

I think there's sex after 11 o'clock so it's a job of the parents not to allow kids to go to sleep after 10 or so.
