"i went to the salon and hate my color. Can I home dye over the salon color on the same day?"

Details:

I asked the stylist for darker brown with a touch of red. I left with red hair. Not even a little brown. I have purchased a box color and am prepared to repair the "damage" myself. Will doing so ths soon ruin my hair?

	I bought these nice deep red suitcases but after being through several trips, there are bad scuff marks that won't come out. Instead of worrying about it, I thought maybe I can just dye them another color altogether so when it gets dirty and wear and tear it won't show as much.

YES it will ruin your hair... adding more color to a pallet that sounds like it will eventually need to be de colored to remove much of the red, is only asking for more damage. You can not tone out red. You have two options; either de color (remove) the red or go substantially darker where you will still see warmth but more like a dark red-brown.
