There is so much important stuff to read that there isn't enough time to read it once, much less twice. But there are some things that seem to require more than one reading.

I am thinking of the fictions of Jorge Borge, whose works are meant to be read as a "circular" book, that you have to read through more than once to pull it together. And, of course, there are technical subjects one may read several times in the course of study.

What kind of books do you find worthwhile reading more than once, and at what interval? Is there a book you read over and over (besides the Bible)?
