I read somewhere that people of African descent tend to have "watery" earwax, Asians have "dry" earwax, and Caucasians earwax is more waxy (like sticky). I remember when i was younger, my mother would always wet the q-tip before she stuck it in my ear, and I'm assuming this is because she thought MY earwax would be of the "dry" variety, like the statistics say her own would be... though mine tends to be more liquidy.
I clean my ears everyday (because otherwise they feel all wet inside) which might be BECAUSE i clean them out everyday (cochlea working overtime perhaps to accommodate all the wax i clean out everyday.
How often do you clean your ears out? What kind of wax do you have (do you fit your statistic)?
in the other persons accent? For example: If speaking to a Spanish person - do you try to sound more "Latin"? Or "black or white" depending on who your speaking to? Or more as an "Islander" if your speaking to someone from Latin America. Or even with a false Southern or Brooklyn accent?
If you answer yes --- What do you think your reasoning is?
we decorated our office last week with yellow balloons,we didn't entirely filled them up with air,so there's still space for them to expand, but recently we've noticed they're getting bigger & bigger & some has exploded! Can someone please explain why they became bigger rather than become smaller?
everywhere! It's not that noticable, because it's so fine, but it seems to be on everything and everyone. And they are hacking up furballs, and not in the litter box. So, I got to thinking... Maybe I'll shave my cats and be done with the cat hair problem. Now on the slight chance that I actually do this, and the slim chance that I survive the encounter, are there any downsides??? Besides the cost of the shaving cream, the multiple razors, first aid salve and bandages??? I know the cats aren't likely to be too happy with the turn of events, but will they be safe and warm enough without their fur covering? Will they suicide bacause they look too strange? Am I likely to find "presents" in obscure places?
One of life misteries has been solved for me as I used this method of approval since learning to speak and never knew the origin. If you are curious as was I here then is the answer;)
Is there anything specific that I would have to do to encrypt a message? Can I see the encryption from this end too if it is used? Does the receiver receive it encrypted as well and if so what is required to unencrypt it?
Someone here mentioned it a couple of days ago and got my curiosity up about it. IE Explorer 7 Vista Windows Live, hotmail, yahoo or Gmail Thank You
If you had once chance to change One event in your life, what would it be? How would you change it? What effect might it have on your present life? Would you not change anything at all? Have you had an event recently happen that changed your life for the better or worse?
it came out not too long ago, cant be more that a couple years old. it was about this man who goes to tokyo (i think) to do some (illegal) business and almost everyone there is of asian decent except him, seems like he was a pretty famous actor. when he first gets there he hires this man of the street to work for him for a week and pays him this ridiculus amount of money to drive him around and deliver packages. he also gets hurt or something so he goes to a pharmacy to get some bandages and this pretty woman helps him. she is deaf and the man keeps coming back to the store to see her. finally they go on a date and while they are on thier date a guy comes and tries to kill the man and the man shoots him but she dosent know because she was looking at the view of the lake and she cant hear, then she turns around and sees the dead guy and gets scared and runs away. seems like at the end they have some kind of shoot out in a big warehouse, and it blows up... or something

The amount of time a user has been a member? The amount of questions and answers a user has provided? The level of involvement in askville and with it's members? For me, I consider old timers to be people who were here before the AV16 suspension, or have been here at least a year. How about you?
Not saying that people who joined in the past year are in somehow less than, or not as valuable to the community.
At a restaurant the server will tell me to be careful because the plate is very hot, but I have to see for myself, and still I cannot help but to be suprised when I pull my hand back and say "ow!"
Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

It was a British show about a single recently divorced mother who was a travel agent. At one point she started dating her son's teacher. I really liked it. I can't even remember any of the names of the actors to look it up on IMDB. Anyway I saw it a few years ago on Showtime, it was obviously being shown as reruns but I did catch an entire season. And now I was thinking I could get the other seasons on Netflix. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it! Thanks :)

new book" had poll numbers of 84% no and only 16% yes. the poll so far has around 150,000 people responding. When seeing a poll with this kind of "divide" doesn't that show that most cable news channels have their own political leanings? Numbers on the book sale so far are very brisk.
I would love to see that question asked on MSNBC I would bet that 95% say no.
