Just leave the songs on your ipod.

Then go onto the new computer download itunes and connect the ipod.

It will say 'there is already purchased music on this ipod, do you want to transfer it?'

Say yes, and it will transfer it onto ypur computer

Regards

Josh

IF you want to install iTunes on your new computer and have it take all the songs off of the ipod, and you consider that "re adding", then sorry, you're going to have to re add, to the computer.  It's the only way and you just gotta get it started and walk away and do something else for a while.
