I plan on having pizza at an open house. The extra pizzas will be kept warm in the oven but how can I keep the pizza on the buffet table warm while it is sitting out????? Thank you.

"Use a food warmer"

You can use an electric warming tray or you can heat up a pizza stone in the oven then place it on mats, and put the pizza on top of that. Alternatively you can get some of those food service warmers that use candles or sterno underneath and put the pizza you're serving into those pans.

"Hot plate and/or Increase temperature"

You could try to get a hot plate, plug that in and place it on the counter or wherever you keep the pizza and place the pizza pan on that. Just in case you are unfamiliar with a hot plate, it's like stove burner but on a little gadget.

Another idea is to keep the temperature in the room hotter. This will make the pizzas cool slower.

I once saw a mat for dogs to lay on, it was designed to capture the dog's body heat and made the mat very warm for the dog by aiming the heat back upwards. I don't know where to purchase these mats but that might also be a good thing to look into.

I just did the looking myself to provide you with links for exact answers and I came across electronic heating pads. They can be large and small. This would be a good idea if you could get a smallish one, plug it in on the counter and place the pizza on a plate on top of that. This might be better than the hot plate because the hot plate might make it awkward to balance a pizza pan on top of.

I really hope I've provided you with ideas that might help you with this problem, and good luck with the open house :)

Try warming a pizza stone and wraping it in a moist towel.  Then place a dish on top of that and place the pizza on the dish

You can't. Covering the plate will help, but not all that much. Your best bet would probably be to periodically put the plate of pizza slices in a microwave for about a minute or so once in a while (providing the plate is not metal or able to be damaged in a microwave oven).
