I need an alternative to the Outlook instant search. I guess my inbox size became too big so it won't work properly anymore. Are there any good (free or at least affordable) solutions to search faster? Any help welcome...
The main perspective age has given me which I've just recently come to be ble to put into as few words as possible is:
I have more understanding and compassion for people than ever, but also less hope for humankind.
I'm not sure, but I think this is probably going to probably lead, soon enough, to a lack of vision where it comes to considering the world's, and even my community and family's most serious problems.
Then again, maybe not. Nomatter what, I always seem to find a hopeful attitude, with only minor lapses from time to time. And this is more true now than it's ever been before. Not a hope in anything in particular; just a hope that things will be ok, in some way, whatever happens. I guess you could call it a "blind hope."
I still get depressed, anxious, or worried sometimes, but not even half as much as I did up to about two or three years ago. This does not seem to have any correlation with life circumstances, or medications, either.
---------- comments? opinions? thoughts? Most of all, have fun with this!!!!
If you're going to use the report abuse button, please pass this question by; censorship not welcome here, only the free flow of ideas and information.
Please have fun in the DB, but also, please, at least two people answer the question. Be the first to level up in the "More Silliness From Schelli" topic! A much coveted accomplishment.

My wife and I have our own email accounts on Outlook Express. In my email inbox, I have a right hand scroll bar. In my wife's email inbox the right hand scroll bar has disappeared. I have tried to reset it, but am having no positive results. Can anyone help, please?!!
I cannot figure out how to log off of my email, Outlook 2007. I was told if I exited the program I would be logged off; not so. I reopen the program and there is my email for the world to see. I shut off the computer, boot it up the next morning and once again, there is my email in all it's glory (not requiring a password or anything). I do not have any type of password saved in my account options so I don't know what to do other than delete the program from my computer which would be a PITA. I've searched all over the web for the answer (it seems to be the simplest question in the world) but I guess it's so simple there are no answers available.
I recently switched from verizon email to gmail. I set everything up on Outlook 2007 Everything works fine, except when I am at home, I have to log on to a neighbor's network in order for Outlook 2007 to send and receive my email. Otherwise, I receive an error message.
...to the original forwarded message? I received a work message that I am almost certain the person forwarding added a sentence and an attachment. It seems he added the new text in the correct font and color (not difficult). Is there somewhere to track these changes in the message?
My Outlook has worked perfectly for 7 years and about 2 weeks ago it stopped sending and receiving automatically. If I write a mesage and tell it to send, I then have to hit the send/receive button otherwise it sits in my outbox. I also have to keep hitting sending/receiving to get my e-mail. Anyone have an idea as to the problem. I saw the comment about Outlook 2007 and the online/ offline indicator; however, I don't see that on my Outlook 2002.
What's the best Anti-Spam program that works with Outlook Express 6? I have always used CA ($50./yr) but recently discovered it is seriously bogging down my system. It is a Security Suite and has Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus, Personal Firewall & Anti-spyware. ANyway - I want something that is compatible with OE 6. Any ideas?
I am running it standalone as a personal email client -- it actually is hooked up to my Gmail account. My notebook is running XP.
I would really like to be able to tell my friends when I am unable to read messages for a while, the way I can tell my business acquaintances in Outlook that runs over the network at work.
It does not even show up in the Help topics or a Search of them.
Is it possible to inform people that you don't have email access for a few days? It was easy when using an Exchange Server, but now I have a standard POP3 account.
In particular, I'm interested in the calendar function - if I update one, will it automatically update the other without me having to do something to tell it to?
winxp, outlook 2007. also having disk drive full problems when i know that over 50G was available last week. have mcafee running and blocking vile stuff.
I have exported some PALM contacts as .vcf files and now I am trying to import them into Outlook. In PALM, I have the business number listed as Main so Outlook doesn't import the number into the business field. How do I configure Outlook so that it recognizes this as the business number? Thanks.
We currently do not have MS Exchange Server (of any version) due to the monetary costs. We have Server 2003 and are using the Pop3 service that comes with Server 2003. When we upgrade from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007, when we try to log in it pops a login box. Our info is being typed correctly, but we get error messages saying the server would not accept the login info. Is there some way to configure either Outlook 2007 or the Pop3 service in Server 2003 so they are compatible with each other?
For example, I have several items that are flagged with a red category, but one of those is also flagged with a yellow category. When I have them grouped by category I see the red/yellow one in both groups, but in the group of red items there's no way to see which one has the yellow category without opening them all. Even if I show the category as a column, it only shows the category that matches the current group.
Is there a way to put a contact into a group at the same time you add the contact? I have to add 20-50 contacts at a time and each of them go into 2 or more mailing groups. I add each contact separately as a new contact card, then I have to go into each group and select each person from the (ever growing) list of contacts and add them. How can I choose the group to add the person to as I build the contact card, as part of the same step? (I can't upgrade & my boss won't buy a book so those are not options.) Using WinXP if it matters.
I bought an expensive gadget and forgot where I got it from. It broke. If I buy an identical one somewhere else, and return this one instead, will it cause the store significant damage, or will they just have to mail it to the manufacturer to get a refund? If it's the latter, then it won't cost them much, and if people do it all the time, then it probably balances out, i.e. one day I handle your return, next day you handle mine, and we are even. I really hate to buy a brand new one, but at the same time don't want to engage in what might be the equivalent of shoplifting, depending on how stores work. Thoughts?
I have heard that in some sects of Buddhism this is actually the case but it seems illogical. I'm not sure how that it would work unless we are not judged by our earthly actions, in the afterlife. Then randomly morphed into another creature upon our death?
Mine I came up with after getting bored with my old username and I just changed it to be better. I used to love a TV show called "Code: Lyoko", I just added a "Bornin" in front of it, and my username was born. Where did your username come from?
I understand sweet foods...but one would think foods that burn our mouths, make us sweat, gives us indigestion and sends us to the bathrooms later...we would stay from...
