"has anyone ever seen a necklace with a "hammered" silver circle pendant that can be engraved (black engrave, not white)"

Details:

I saw someone wearing it and I really want to buy one... the pendant was small, about the size of a nickle, and she had her son's name "George" engraved on it ... "George" was in black on the pendant - not just the white/scratch like you see a lot with engraving ...

Hey sommerkleve, I like that better than what I found. It's more 'rustic' looking. Not really hammered but not real shiny. Good. Sometimes you just have to keep searching;)
