My fridge is across the kitchen from the sink, so there's no easy access to any pipes. We've just renovated, so the floor is tiled, the basement ceilings are closed up--drilling any holes or any additional base work is out of the question. Is there a 'manual' fix for this, where we can provide a water source to the fridge? i.e. (sorry in advance for these silly ideas!) Can we run a hose from the sink faucet to the back of the fridge only when we need to make ice or water? Can we place a large container of water behind the fridge and feed the fridge's water link into that?

Please suggest any "temporary" fixes to our problem without having to redo an entirely brand new kitchen!

One of the freezers is a little box sized one and is coupled with a refrigerator, and one is a stand up freezer and the other is regular sized freezer on one side and a refrigerator on the other side. I cannot even keep ice cream overnight in any of the three. It gets really soft. Why is this?

I assume the numbers somehow describe the hardness or thinckness of the steel, but I don't know. What do these numbers actually mean, and what are the optimal numbers for flatware, cutlery and cookware?

What colors should I put on the walls? My dining room is spanish red, my foyer is chocolate brown and my great room is currently a caramel color that we need to change. Do we need to do the kitchen and great room the same? They are open to each other.
Also, my kitchen cabinets are an orangey oak, dark granite with specks of black,gray,white and a specks of blue. My floors are a creamy tile. Thanks for the help.

Granted, I really didn't watch the whole thing. It was much to painful and the ratio of commercial to series was totally out of whack. I'm willing to sit through a few ads to watch a good series, but in this case I think the ad breaks were longer than the horrifically boring series segments.

For me I think the main thing is that "The Village" seemed to be missing that whole absurd carnival like atmosphere of the original series. Stuck in the middle of a desert rather than a tiny island village?!?! Further, the plot (at least for the part I endured) seemed to be much more about the girl than about getting information out of number 6.

What a letdown. Any other opinions?
