Which side of the 2012 debate has the best supporting evidence? The Consciousness, Doom, or Nada will Happen Group?
There appears to be three sides to the 2012 debate.
1. The light workers side that suggests that humanity will shed our dark past and begin to come together in unity to make for a peaceful and sustainable future for all.
2. Enough evidence points to the fact that something potentially very catastrophic will happen on De. 21. 2012
3. December 21st, 2012 will come and go like any other day.
Which side do you gravitate more towards?

How would you respond to a Chinese person who says that censorship is part of their culture and that we should just accept that?
This is just a hypothetical question I was pondering by myself. I haven't actually had this discussion with anybody. And to be clear, I'm not talking about directly criticizing anybody or meddling in China's or anybody else's affairs. But there do seem to be people in many countries who think public participation in government is just a Western idea and that it's not necessarily the best thing for everyone.
For this, I'm just interested in the question of FREE EXPRESSION of LEGITIMATE POLITICAL IDEAS and SOCIAL COMMENTARY. Never mind obscenity, harassment, and yelling "fire" in movie theaters.<< less

I do find Dungeons and Dragons an interesting game with deep seated strategy. Moreover it becomes more interesting when one ponders upon the facts that Askville was based upon this game, gaming and its entire strategy.
While Amazon originally aided the start of Askville it was then fully based as an Internet Question and Answer Game. This is true folks!
Moreover, it was created to bolster "search engine" placements for Amazon products over time by merely flooding the gates.
Dungeons and Dragons the game: Has one very interesting strategy built into it: "Rattle the cage" theory upon the players to formulate change and increase the game play. I find this worth pondering over?
Askville is a 'REAL TIME" ROLE PLAYING GAME. This is true also!
The TEAMS newest blog states they are not using a robot moderator: But they have tested one they admit! Maybe the test failed and yesterday they turned it off until they fix it better? Such as it linking back wrong urls?

All this complaining about the GNP, suppressed comments, abusing the abuse button... OK, let's get a grip! Take a step back, reflect on your behavior, make course corrections and move past it. If you can't then let me suggest you consider the following:
One fundamental tenet of team building that I teach is "not every person is right for every team"... there are always malcontents on teams that no matter what you do will never be happy, productive, committed members. Instead they drag the team down.
Well I believe you can draw a parallel between team member behavior and community member behavior...
Not every member is right for Askville. So, ask yourself, are YOU right for AV? If not, stop threatening to leave and just take a break and make a decision.... don't drag us all through your anger.
So, what can we do to get people over this he said/she said nonsense and move on. Because guess what - if people continue to hit the Abuse button then content will get suppressed...<< less

It was just announced in Delaware that the Refinery Valeo is shutting it's doors for good as of Yesterday. It is laying off 550 people plus the trickle down effect from the people that worked at the factory in other job's. The Community of Delaware City, the Refinery is 40% of there income, plus the Refinery this year gave $10,000 Dollars to the community Center. They claim they are running with out a profit since January of this year. It is costing them more in environmental cost and regulations, that there is no profits any more and no reason to keep the Refinery running. This Refinery supply gas and heating oil to 97% of Delaware, plus MD. and other states. This will also add to the employment rolls that continue to go up, but these are high paying job's that again are lost for ever in this country. Our Government is continuing to focus on health Care when what America is screaming for JOB'S, and good paying job's not token jobs.<< less
