Go to the front page. Scroll down and hit "See more>". Then scroll down and try to find the very last page of questions by entering a big number and then hitting "go". At the moment it is page # 8887 and can be accessed from the following link:
http://askville.amazon.com/RequestsByFilter.do?page=8887&fil In that page scroll down to find the very first question. Now, hover your cursor over where it says "asked 27 months ago" and you will see it says "2006-06-22 1:33 AM", which is the time the first question has been posted.

A key on my keyboard is driving me insane! Can I turn it off, pop it off, shut it off, something off with it.
It is my laptop and it is the "HOME" button, right smack next to back space. Every single day while typing do I hit it instead of the BS button, I don't know I did and I continue to type just to look up and see I am sitting at the front of the page.
Thank you!

I'm a newbie here-- I like Amz.com and decided to try Askville-- need help -- Since the upgrade to IE 7 when I'm on a web page and move my scroll wheel one click, it keeps going for about 5 spaces -drives me nuts ! and forces me to use the side bar to move the page up or down a notch, or the arrow keys. I can't find how to change this. It doesn't do this on our other PC with IE 7 so what's the deal? Please help. Thanks-

I know this might just well be the ultimate in laziness, but what if there was a "Back to Top" button on the bottom of each Askville page so that you wouldn't have to scroll up to get back to the top of very long pages? It could even be another option in the line on the bottom that reads "ASK A QUESTION/HOME/FAQ.../*TOP*"?
As it now stands, you have to scroll-up to the top of a Discussion page every time you want to go back to the Question list. This is particularly annoying if its a long page of Discussion comments, and you just posted the last comment.
In my opinion, the Askville team should also place a "back to Discussion" page link at the bottom of the Discussionpage, so you wouldn't have to do so much scrolling. What do you think?

When I start my web browser Firefox, not only does my home page come up, but also one of my other bookmarks comes up in another tab. I've had this bookmark for a while, and it just started to do this. It doesn't do it when I hit the refresh key, or when I use my bookmarks to get back to my home page (my home page is also in my bookmark list). How can I stop it from doing this aside from deleting the pain in the ass bookmark?
