I have a pc and on DRIV3R i beat the whole game but how do you fly an airplane?

There were a lot of rumor going around that the developers were going to add the ability to fly a plane in the game, but it was never added as far as I can tell. http://forums.supercheats.com/topic.php?topic=15494
