"The observer would know that...."

I have kids.... there are toys, books, and sunglasses in a tote bag in the backseat of my car.

I also use a diaper bag for my kids, it has spare clothes,  healthy snacks, baby food jars, bibs, silverware, wipes, sunscreen, toys, blanket, dvd player, movies, fold up water bowl, balmax, juice boxes, formula powder, bottles and liners, q-tips, thermometer, tylenol, first aid kit and diapers.

My other cars are clean now as I do not allow food in them.  I have three cars total.. I use two for work purposes only, and I use one mainly for family outings.

I think if someone were to judge me by my cars, they would say I was neatly organized. (Neatly Organized Nut)

In observing me, they would find that I have fingerprints all over my windows, stickers stuck to the passenger windows.  I have two car seats that are properly installed in each car.

The observer would report that I am a mother of boys.  I have trucks, boats or spiderman figurines throughout the family car.  I have an over the seat storage bag. (It holds everything that I need for my boys).

I have a CD collection on a visor. (the viewer would enjoy the variety of music to choose from).

I have an old red ribbon tied around my side mirror in reference to MADD. (Mother’s Against Drunk Drivers).

They would find money and my old wedding ring in the ashtray. (good place for it).  There are phone cards in the glove box and two quarters (for emergency purposes).

My work vehicles have uniforms, a jacket, rain gear, hat, ballcaps, utility belt, metal clipboard, pens, paper, an angel pin, American flag and CT flag pins, post-it on the console, maps, a briefcase, computer and bag and notebooks. They’re both clean inside and out and smell great.

All of my vehicles are in great working conditon, clean...but lived in, and properly maintained.

I am very well organized.   My boys seem to be the only ones that I am entertaining, so I am more relaxed and very comfortable, in the condition that I keep all of my vehicles.

""Thinks coffee is a food group""

My car is very neat (it's the first one I've managed to keep clean longer than a week!). But there ARE a few things in it that would give some clues:

  • the only napkins present are all from Starbucks
  • both cupholders have steel thermal coffee mugs in them
  • the owner is either an ex-boyscout, or the guy to be near if something bad happens - flashlight, backup flashlight, survival knife, water supply, box of meal bars, space blanket, candle, lighter, 3 types of matches, strong cord, printed directions to various places, GPS device
  • is a gadget freak - too many AC adapters and converters
  • boxing gloves, pads, mouthguard, and training weapons in the trunk
  • complete vehicle toolbox with jumper cables
  • first aid kit
  • jack, crowbar, other standards
  • ipod - with a very ecclectic selection. Everything from Princeton physics department podcasted lectures, to um...Slayer.
  • some cleaning supplies
  • 3 pairs of sunglasses

"I'm afraid a whole lot..."

1. We're dog owners. When I first got the car I tried keeping blankets or sheets on the seats, but it did no good. My baby dog's hair is everywhere in that car.

2. I'm lazy. I loooove my car, but sadly I don't wash the interior as often as I should. Too much dust. Too many crumbs.

3. I eat on the go. Hence the crumbs. And the armrest full of granola bars.

4. I'm a member of the Lions Club. Easy to tell since I always keep my Lions vest in the backseat.

5. I get lost easily. There's a glove compartment full of printed maps to prove it.

6. My car is like a little powder room. No, not in the toilet sense. But in the sense that I have a special compartment for chapstick, dental floss, kleenex, and mints. Keeps me fresh and presentable on the go!

Otherwise I'd like to think I keep the garbage to an extreme minimum. Although it's worse in the winter when my stockpile of mittens and scarves is in the backseat. But I hope I'd come across as something short of a mental patient!

I LOVE my car. It's a 1996 Pontiac sunfire. And you would think by the way that I treat her that she's my baby! I wash my car and clean it out three times a week. I NEVER leave garbage in it. That just grosses me out. And becuase i'm totally obsessed with the Grateful Dead there are some dead stickers on there as well. I can't stand when people don't take care of their cars. You need to appriciate the things you have and take care of them.

"I like coupons..."

For the most part, I like to keep my car relatively clean.

I clean up after myself. Don't use it as a garbage disposal on wheels, that's for sure.  I vacuum it when I can, shake the mats when periodically.

The only things you'll find in my car are my CD collection, and lots of coupons!

I'm always looking to catch a deal, and what better place to have your coupon collection than in your car!

I sometimes keep the good old entertainment book in the back seat, but currently it's sitting in the trunk with all the other coupons.

Besides being a coupon fenatic, people would find out I love music!

By taking a quick peak in the trunk too, they would find I like playing tennis and also enjoy bowling!
