Details:

I want to find a site where I can get sanskrit characters and sayings with English meaning. Does anyone know of a site or source for these? I'm particularly interested in the chants rendered in Sanskrit. Thank you

There are many sources that you can find online using various search engines.  Here is a very classic, traditional representation of the characters that is just a scan of a book page:

and here is an interesting web-based approach that gives you a lot of detail about each character but is not so good for searching from the English side:
