Details:

The Calcium Kid, Orlando Bloom, an English film, all I can find is Region 2. Any ideas on how to obtain a region 1 copy? (Region 1 is US)

What you'd be getting is a DVD copy that has been converted to play on Region 1 machines.

Over at some of the Orlando Bloom message boards, they are saying that the quality is good - oh, and apparently it was recently shown on Comedy Central.

Last summer, I went ahead and bought a DVD player that supports PAL and is multi-region for $30 - it's awesome. I got my Cyberhome at Wal-mart.

Have you tried EBay?  You can find most anything there and can get DVD's with region specified.
