I am starting to notice that some of my favorite bands, especially European have been touring in Mexico, but not in USA. Also, I find it interesting that Anime came to Mexico at least a decade before USA. Can someone explain why? Give me some perspective. I live in Texas, and have barely been out of state, let alone the country so I don't know very much about other nations or cultures and am VERY anxious to learn. Sadly, I feel that most of my fellow citizens could care less about other cultures.

Has anyone heard of a somewhat fake cigarette that has no nicotine or toxins? I'm not smoking ( I can't smoke. It would be healthwise devastasting, to the point of amputation). but my cravings are outrageous to the point of the verge of rage and tears. Yes, I've tried EVERYTHING. I realize I just need the effect of smoking.help or suggestions, Please someone out there. I know Askvillers can do it. You haven't let me down yet. Gandmabx

This is more and more often seen and heard in news reports. I don't know when it began exactly, but I know it was not used when I was younger. What are the origins of its current use and when did it begin?

My brother is living in England but he might have to come back to America permanently but he met a Polish girl who hes deeply in love with. He wants to marry her eventually but neither one feels ready to get married just yet. He would like to bring her back with him but she needs some sort of financial aid. Is there anyone that could give me some advice that would really help us out?

I am a 22 year old Canadian looking to go to culinary school in London (which is already crazy expensive) and I need to find somewhere to live that I can afford. My boyfriend has his European Union Citizenship so he will be coming with me and we will be sharing the cost of rent. I would like to find a place in a relatively safe area as I am a pretty tiny girl. The problem is everything I've found is over 2000 $ Canadian a month, which is undoable for me. Any suggestions of where I can look?

What do you attribute this to? Seems like they do not have the same respect for their elders as when were raised. I was not even allowed to be shy. I had to shake hands with adults at age 7. Also, I was not allowed to say an Aunt or Uncle's name unless Aunt or Uncle preceded their name. Do you think the schools lack discipline?

Sooo .... I need to start reading at least one serial publication about what's going on in internet technology. I doubt this is going to help me learn how to use specific programs any faster; however, I want to get more a feeling for how things work, and what the problems techies are aware of that need work and applications and new inventions, and what new inventions are coming along and how they all work.

Does anyone have suggestions for someone like me? Remember, I just barely know the high tech terms for things. I realize I may not be able to get "practical" advice or insight, but I want to get a grip on how things are developing in general and what is worth my getting involved on, or not.

For instance, I finally do have an opinion on net neutrality, but also see the problems in the dialogue and wish I could find further discuss

I'm majoring in latin american studies and i'm thinking about double majoring in poli sci and i was wondering if it'll open up any new job opportunities or if it's a waste of time. Before you say anything I know they're both pretty obscure majors and I'm planning on going to law school but if i don't I just want to know if the poli sci degree would be of any help in finding a job.

A governess is leaving her post and is nearly hit (?) by the carriage of a English gentleman (titled). They end up having a marriage of convenience and while in another country he gets stabbed while spying for England. A male guide leads the heroine and her sister-in-law across the country to safety and on the way the heroine gives birth to a son with a deformed foot (genetic trait of father). Turns out the guide is really a Duke (?) who ends up with the sister-in-law.

Would love help identifying this book. It was a romance, but pretty clean I think. Ok, story begins with a girl who rescues soldiers who have fallen near her family farm to help them recover - british or american it doesn't matter to her. One british soldier has a head wound and is not expected to live. The only feature that is discernable is his eyes. He convinces her to marry him so that she would receive whatever would be coming to him as a 2nd or 3rd son of a noble family. She forgets about it, time passes, she's then getting married to a neighbor who is friends with her older brother (who is not a good guy). As she walk down the aisle there is a man she doesn't recognize, but his eyes are familiar. He stands up to stop the wedding and takes her away to England. His older brother(s?) have died and he now runs the estate. He doesn't push her and is incredibly kind. I remember he gives her the key to the door that separates their rooms and leaves it to her to decide when to open it.

on facebook, ive noticed that some of my friends that have sent me friend requests dont even talk to me or remember who i am. i think with the ones that forgot they sent me friend requests, thats the most ironic thing that has ever happened on facebook. anyone else have the same problem?

I have dealt with a lot from my husband from him leaving for weeks to him one minute being loving than a jerk and verbally aggressive. I use to be very outgoing and had many friends, but now as time pasted i lost the ambition and communication with my friends and let him control the relationship to however he wanted. The worst part is i know he has control, yet i let him back, and I feel like i can't leave him. How could I get myself together and leave him?

new book" had poll numbers of 84% no and only 16% yes. the poll so far has around 150,000 people responding. When seeing a poll with this kind of "divide" doesn't that show that most cable news channels have their own political leanings? Numbers on the book sale so far are very brisk.

I would love to see that question asked on MSNBC I would bet that 95% say no.

I get an error message when I try to log onto my Facebook page. The email is correct, but error message states invalid email. I can still get messages from folks that email me through FB and when someone posts, it goes to my inbox. Any ideas. Ive cleared cookies, updated my browers. And sent SEVERAL emails to Facebook. NO HELP!
