Details:

I am forever buying drip pans for my electric range. The black enameled ones get funny in a short time no matter how careful I am with them. The mental finish ones get ugly even faster. If I have a set of them chrome plated would they stay nice with a minimum of effort on my part? I wonder if they too would discolor rapidly.

I’m not to sure about the chrome plated pans because I have the orginal drip pans that came with my stove when I bought it 2 years ago.  I use oven cleaner to clean them.   Just spray a heavy coat of oven cleaner on them and let them sit for 1-few hours ( depending how dirty they are).  I usually do this once a month.  I spray them in the morning and then scrub them with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser before supper.  The longer the cleaner sits the cleaner they get.  They’ll look brand new and shiny again.  It cuts the cost of having to keep buying replacements.
