Details:

I bought a new Zen Nano Plus MP3 player. The booklet didn't tell you now to transfer music from cd player to MP3.

First, congratulations on your purchase. My first mp3 player was a Creative, and I adore it still.

You will need to "rip" a CD into mp3 format before you can put it on your mp3 player. You can do this using Windows Media Player by selecting Copy from CD. Other CD playing software (most, I believe) will allow similar functionality. Winamp also does it.

Once the files are on your hard drive, plug the removable drive part of the Nano into an open USB port on your computer. You can then access that drive like your hard drive or a floppy disk. Find the mp3 files on your computer and copy (or move) them to your Nano. You can also do this with data files, although obviously you can't play those.

Have many happy hours of listening!
