Details:

What are some companies that will be able to do what I am looking for? Let's say I want to open a company, I have created a logo for my company, and bought 20 pairs of shirts. I want then to put my logo on every shirt. Once I do that I won't be able to erase it any more. Does anyone here know what I am talking about and can point me in the right direction?

"Land's End"

I've used Land's End for this consistently over the years.  Great customer service, good art department, and bulletproof return policy.

Land's End Business Outfitters

They'll take your logo in any of the standard formats, prep it for embroidery in your chosen colors, and you have a host of items to select from - everything from oxford button-down shirt to bags and giveaway items.

Hope that helps some.  Best to you.

"embroidery or silk screening"

You want to have the logo embroidered or silk-screened onto the shirts.   Most large towns have a company that does one or the other.   Embroidery looks nicer and costs more.   You also have to have the logo "digitized" (made into a special file to run on the machine) but that's a one-time cost.  The logo is sewn onto the cloth.   Silk-screening paints the logo onto the material.
For just 20 shirts you are better off negotiating it yourself.  For larger amounts, you can go through a promotional company--the type that you can also get mugs, pens, whatever with your logo.

"The perfect place no minimum requirement..."

I found that no matter where one looks they always have a minimum, the URL below does not!

You can submit your design, and choose your color options!

What you could do is follow their instructions and get your patches delivered and have someone local sew them to your company shirts!
