"the word "transparent" does not imply a color ......"

"transparent" means the property of an object that will transmit light and will not scatter light. Color of an object is associated with the optical properties of this object and those of its surrounding objects.

I guess you can say transparent really means "no color change". Since real transparency should mean all lights passed through without any change of optical wavelengths.

Or in other words, the perception of a color before or behind a transparent object are the same.

The truth is that objects considered transparent in real life always have a tint of certain color, because true transparency is only found in "vacuum". For example, you can say glass is transparent, but you can always see a hint of certain color in it.

Because, every object, will somehow absorb or reflect lights, more or less.

"Transparent is not a colour"

Transparent is the lack of colour. Colour is parts of the spectrum of light which are reflected. Transparency means no light is reflected, thus none of the spectrum shows and no colour will appear.

Transparent is the opposite of opaque.

"In optics, transparency is the property of allowing light to pass. Transparent materials can be seen through; that is, they allow clear images to pass. The opposite property is opacity. Translucent materials allow light to pass through them only diffusely, that is, the material distorts the image. Also known as diaphaneity, a commonly used term in mineralogy."

"Transparent means colorless"

The absence of any color is called colorless. Thus, pure water is nearly transparent. So is glass.

Explanation:

White light from sun (usual source of light) is composed of all the colors (VIBGYOR spectrum if you remember). There is a one to one correspondence between color perceived by eye and the wavelength of the incident light. Thus blue color light has a blue-color wavelength and so on.

Now, consider a Blue jacket, the jacket will absorb all wavelengths except the blue-color wavelength light. Similarly, a green plant absorbs all wavelengths of light except the green-color wavelength light. Thus we perceive green as green and blue as blue.

So you see, color is due to two reasons: 1) Absorption of certain color wavelengths; and 2) Reflection of whatever is left.

So what about transparent? Transparent does not absorbs any color light. It does not even reflects them. It allows all the colors to just get "through" its body and hence shows the transparent characteristics.

Transparent is like saying clear.  The substance being described lets light through.  If I wanted to describe a glass of water I would say the glass is filled with a clear (transparent), colorless liquid.  To describe something like a peice of stained glass I might say it is transparent and blue, etc.
