"Looking for a book, historical christian fiction."

Details:

The book is about a girl who leaves after I believe killing her abusive father by accident or self defense. And while the cops are looking for her she finds work at a stop along the railroad back in the 1800s. Its a restaurant where the girls live and work. They serve those who stop while riding the railroad. Its kind of a romance because in the end the girl marries. If anyone could help that would be great.

This is just important to me because my grandmother would read so many christian fiction books and would pass them down to me. Well when she passed away I was given all her books and in between my many moves they are lost to me. I am in search of them to renew the collection.

*Update* I have done more research and the book is about the Harvey House Girls. The main character leaves her abusive father who ends up dead and the law is looking for her. She escapes and begans working as a harvey house girl.

I read a book a long while ago, maybe 10 years or so, and I want to re-read it but I can't remember the name of the author or title of the book or even the names of any of the characters. It was historical fiction, set during the French Revolution, and the plot spanned about five generations of women. A lot of the action took place in and around the Palace of Versailles and during the reigns of Louis the 14th - 16th. I remember really enjoying this book and would like to re-read it. I am not sure if it is as good as I remembered it since I was maybe in junior high or high school when I read it, but I'd really like to read it again. I know that's not a lot of details, but if anyone has a clue what the name of it might be, I'd really, really appreciate it! Thanks so much. --- NEVER MIND! I think I've found my answer: To Dance With Kings by Rosalind Laker. Too bad it's not available in my local library system, but Amazon has it for only $10. :)

This book is about a young woman who is blind and her sister comes home for the holidays and brings a few friends with her. One of the friends is also her boyfriend. As the story progresses the blind woman falls in love with her sister's boyfriend. (I think the blind woman was blinded by an ice skating accident. I think the accident was on a pond near the home.) This story is set in the winter, and it might have a couple other stories with it all put into one book. I have searched everywhere for this book and want to read it again. Please help me find this book.

I own a book that is similar to this description. It has a girl who has an abusive father and lives in a secluded place. Her father ends up selling her to some man while he was in town, and she accidentally kills the man that she was sold to after they married. She then ran away and and acquired a position as a Harvey Girl. The cops prusue her. She ends up marrying in the end. The book's name is Shelter of Hope written by Tracie Peterson. It is book 1 of the Westward Chronicles series.
