I would like to make one family member guardian of our child in the event of both of our deaths. And the other family member in charge of the trust for the child. Im i asking for problems having two diffrent people involved, I feel its safer. Or, am i better off making the guardian and trustee the same person?
I really can't believe that so many manufacturers are ignoring the BPA concern! For prepping baby food, other cooking tasks. Saw reference to Brevia, but I guess they're not made anymore? I'm looking to replace the old BPA Cuisinart features, a glass blender or hand mixer really won't work. Would prefer to buy a US Canadian or European product, or at least one that meets those three safety standards. Any suggestions?
We have an 8 year old, unused crib, that we are planning to use for a new grandchild. The finish looks perfect on it,as does all of the safety concerns. Is there a problem with the material they used to finish the wood with from 8 years ago? There is no way for me to check to see what product was used.
What was your baby on her/his first Halloween? My baby girl was a pink bunny, she looked sooo cute!!! I just wanted to asked other mommies what they chose for their little trick r treaters.
my 8 month old son, was sleeping well. then all of a sudden about 1 week ago he got to he what I call restless sleeper. he cant sleep he tosses and turns all night long trying to get comphy we have tried to even put him in bed with us and he does the same thing any suggestions or ideas on how to help..... he still will take the bottle at night and that does not really help maybe for the first 30 mins or so. he does this during the day time too he has a hard time getting to sleep also he is in the " i want mommy daddy" all the time stage and to hold me all the time stage
soymilk which is contributing to the problem? Soymilk is not really "milk." The baby has a milk allergy. The mother is a friend of my daughter. I told her to urge her friend to see her pediatrician about switching the baby to goat's milk instead.
Before we got married my husband and I discussed our plan for children. We were both in agreement that we wanted to wait a few years before we started a family but we did want to have kids. We have been married for 7 years now and I am 31 years old and not getting any younger! We are financially stable and have built our careers to a place that it is feasible to start a family. Problem is my husband isn't on the same page. He says he wants children, but isn't ready yet. He has also commented that we should just plan to adopt then we wouldn't have to worry about my age. Not to rule out adoption, but I really hope to have our own child. Not to mention that adoption is a very long and costly process. When I try to discuss this with him he just blows me off. I really don't know how to get through to him that if this is want we want we need to do it now. Or if he doesn't really want children how to get him to open up and talk about it
We were together for 4 1/2 years and have a 1 month old son, he has only seen his son 4 times since he was born. I feel lost without him, but don't want to be hurt any further.
the only way i can get him to stop crying is to stand up infront of the tv and rock him. if i stop and sit down or if i try to lay him down he wakes up screaming, my back and knees are killing me please help, ive tried bouncers vibrating chairs swings i even have a cradle that swing
the book was from the late 1970's or very early 1980's, at least that was when I read it as a very small child. the premise of the book was that a woman was in her house and the phone rings, which make the dog bark, which made the baby wake up with made the bird squawk...etc etc until the house was in chaos...it was so much fun, we read it over and over!!! The colors were bright and it was modern cartooning (for the time). Any ideas, I want to try to find it for my god son's birthday. Thanks!!
Didn't he call and check on her I mean talk to her on the phone? He raised her for 5 years and what?My children could tell me alot by the time they were 5. I just dont understand did he just slow the car down open the door and push her out..........seems to me they would have had a really close relationship after 5 years.......are there 2 guilty parents here?
I have not taken him out anywhere since he was born, except for his 2 week doctor's visit and I think I'm starting to suffer from a bad case of cabin fever. My husband doesn't want me to take him anywhere with the H1N1 virus going around, and I'm not sure when that'll pass. Should we keep him cooped up, or would a short trip to the store or the bank be okay?
Where can I find "panty hose" or tights for my 8 month old baby? Her pants always rolled up her legs and I want her to wear them underneath them. I've been looking online but I can't find it, not even at babies r us. Am I typing the wrong name? Maybe they are not called that.
It takes a village to raise a baby (and to pay for it).
Instead of the usual baby registry, would you contribute a baby fund that allows friends and family to give money gifts to cover expenses like camp, lessons, class trips and the other expenses of childhood?
Would you contribute if the baby fund was part of a wedding registry, allowing the couple to afford a kid?
everywhere! It's not that noticable, because it's so fine, but it seems to be on everything and everyone. And they are hacking up furballs, and not in the litter box. So, I got to thinking... Maybe I'll shave my cats and be done with the cat hair problem. Now on the slight chance that I actually do this, and the slim chance that I survive the encounter, are there any downsides??? Besides the cost of the shaving cream, the multiple razors, first aid salve and bandages??? I know the cats aren't likely to be too happy with the turn of events, but will they be safe and warm enough without their fur covering? Will they suicide bacause they look too strange? Am I likely to find "presents" in obscure places?
The question is not whether or not it's right to tell that sort of thing to a child, but whether or not parents believe it. Parents I know, including my own, have lost much hope in the difficult struggle of raising children. Whereas younger friends of mine despise the encouragement, believing it to be a lie and false hope. Also consider other responsible figures (teachers, relatives, and the rest) saying the same thing.
Do you think it is fair to the city of New York to have to burden with all that comes with a trial of this caliber? (e.g. the security, the money, ect.)
