Details:

Im giving a friend a baby shower. she has 3 other kids already ages 6 ,3 and 18 mons, her hubby is deployed to Iraq and he wont be here when the baby comes, so a friend and I are going to give her a shower to help make things easier. I also wanted to give little gifts to the other kids so they don't feel left out.

what would be some good gift ideas to give to the older kids? all are girls and she is having another girl

"toys..."

toys are something good and they're multi-functional...
buy them toys that their mom won't or can't afford to buy them.  something that you can use to keep them occupied with during the shower, maybe something that they could all play with together...think dolls or duplo legos (those are the big ones) or my person favorite play food & dishes

"Here is a couple of idea's............."

For the six year old I would give her either a camera with a photo album, so she can take lots of photo's to put in the album and to send to Daddy.

Also a baby's first calendar with stickers, so she can feel real important and keep track of all the cool things the baby is doing in the first year.

For the three year old, how about a new toy that she can pretend to be teaching the baby something ~ blocks, picture books..etc.

The 18 mth old ~ a baby doll!

"Teddy bears"

All kids, boys and girls love teddy bears or soft stuffed animals they can play and snuggle with.  All my boys have at least 1-2 even the teens.  Also a "im a big sister" shirt might be cute for the 2 oldest ones.  Maybe a matching shirt for all 3 plus the new baby so they can all have a picture taken together.....

Hope these help.  Girls are not my strong point, I have all boys, and most the foster children I get are boys, as its my specialty.  (boys 3-14 with special needs esp ADHD and Enuresis).
