Details:

Since the UN and European countries have been trying for years to get Iran to stop their nuclear weapons program, is it true that more of the same is an exercise in futility? Maybe they just didn't use the right words with Ahmadinejad, Iran's crazy president? Is the childish hope that the right type of coaxing will get Iran to concede that they were wrong all along? And is this naive silliness just the "foolish delusion" Bush said to the Israeli Knesset today?

I will place the "right kind of coaxing' comment right alongside this comment by him (President Bush) right after 9-11.  "... Islam is a religion of peace & tolerance".

"Islam was spread by fire & sword ... ".

"Peace comes at the point of a sword ...".

The above 2 comments are much more in keeping with Islamic foreign relations since Mo sent out the Islamic armies in AD 632 to slay the infidel & conquer the world for Islam.

The Koran prohibits peace with the infidel.

There will be no peace in the world until Islam is dominant.

The Koran does allow for long-term truces.  But only when the forces of Islam are about to have their arse's kicked, so they are not defeated.

The Koran prohibits truces with the infidel if they are winning the battles.

What happens to Israel will in due time happen to all infidels.

the right to do so.

If those countries, including the US, are worried about nuclear arms, perhaps they should give up theirs as a sign of maturity and good faith.  After all, if Iran doesn’t need them, neither does the US or anyone in Europe.

I do think Iran deserves to have a way to protect itself from US agression as the oil wars continue.

If the U.S would promise to build several dozen nuclear power plants in Iran.. Supply the fuel--FREE..Provide for oversight--for free....

YOU WILL NOT STOP the construction of Nuclear Power Plants in Iran or elsewhere in the middle east.. Cheap, reliable power is key...

As I said before, but apparently nobody on Askville was listening.. Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait is allready negotiating with French/ Russian contractors to build their Nuclear Power Plants in the near future... Probobly even  ----ISRAEL.......

As they say, what's good for the goose.....
