The husband now knows that he has done something wrong but has no clue what it is. He's in deeper trouble for not knowing what he did. He knows he should do something but doesn't want to make things worse in case he guesses wrong.

His solution: Poker night! Since hes not getting any tonight, he may as well play poker.

Husband: I'll take the kids

for the day so you can have a break
Wife: Thank you honey.
Husband: No problem, just keep an eye on them while I sleep in first, then get coffee, then read the paper, then watch tv, then play golf, then I'll watch the kids
Wife: (silent) Grump!

mostly because they think that you (men/her chosen

partner who she loves and cares for deeply) should know to get her a birthday present and in most cases you should.

If men always say that women never say what they mean, then why don't more men understand what we really mean. You'd think that by know you would have learned considering it's a well known fact.

It's unfortunate, and some women feel justified in being very passive-aggressive in the hopes of seeming 'coy'.

Most people are put off by women who are assertive and clear- they get labeled 'ball-busting b*tch' or worse. (I hope this doesn't violate the TOS- I'm not sure what level of language is appropriate).

Why on earth would you believe anyone who says they

don't want something for their birthday? Seriously...the one day of the year when the people you love are supposed to take a moment to appreciate you? That is just hogwash...I hope this doesn't violate the TOS- I'm not sure what level of language is appropriate ;)

Also if the topic of the conversation is jealous...I mean, if something happens and you suspect the woman is jealous...then she is. No one wants to admit to jealousy...it's not a pretty emotion.
