I had mono vision lasik about 7 yrs ago......... Loved it !!!
Now I need reading glasses lol .......... but it worked great for a while.......If I had it to do over again I would go for the 20/20 in both and bite the bullet for the reading glasses.
I could see well in 2 days........... the only side effect I had ......was seeing at night ...the lights had a ring around them for a couple of yrs . I'm very sensitive to bright lights now I never wore sunglasses before now I have to...........still I am very happy with my results!!!

Q:
Is it worth paying more for Lasik eye surgery?
I see various prices for Lasik eye surgery. Is it worth paying more for Lasik eye surgery? Or is it a pretty straightforward procedure now and there is no reason to pay more for the procedure. Like to hear from anyone who got Lasik......

A: Try shopping around...
There are a couple of different procedures depending on the condition of your eyes. Both me and my wife have had the surgery and I can tell you it is well worth the price. I suggest you shop around and compare prices. The difference is going to be in the services you get after the surgery. Good Luck!!!

Q:
Is Lasik eye surgery safe to get if your nursing a baby?
My wife is breastfeeding a baby and was thinking about getting Lasik eye surgery. Is there anything dangerous about the surgery that would impact breast milk? I doubt it, but just curious if anyone who has had Lasik eye surgery......

A: Lasik eye surgery is safe
As a physician I can assure you that there are no real dangers towards your baby. Your breast milk will contain the medications that are prescribed for you after surgery such as, pain medications, sleep aids, etc.
Though these medications will be very little in your breast milk, since you will only need them for maybe a day or two...but to be on the safe side pump your breast milk before surgery or use formula for those few days.
