Q:
What really happened to Ambrose Gwinnet Bierce? Date of Death is unknown...
P.S. I am not a fan of Wikipedia as a source. A website that will pull up "Bonfire of the Vanities" as a Tom Hanks movie and not an event in history has it's priorities gravely out of order.

A: Officially unknown, however it's presumed he died in Mexico.
There are several official theories that answer the question. Unfortunately, we may never know the truth. The leading theory is that Ambrose died on January 11th, 1914 at the battle Ojinega in the Mexican Civil War. He wrote his last known letter on on Sept 10, 1913 where he told a friend that he was retiring from writing and moving to South America. He also told his family that he was going to Mexico to report on Pancho Villa's forces. Many believe he threw himself over the edge of the Grand Canyon. There are some fantastic stories about his life in Venezuela, but very little proof to substantiate them. All of these can be read in detail in the website dedicated to Bierce that I've listed as the primary URL.

A: I WAS THE WHO FORGOT I HAD A DATE.IN THE MIDST OF A DANCE,I UNEXPECTEDLY SAW MY BF SO I HAVE TO SIGN EXCUSE ME AND LEFT.
|
I WAS THE ONE WHO LEFT MY DATE WHILE WE'RE BUSY DANCING. AND YOU KNOW, I REALLY FELT GUILTY THAT TIME BECAUSE MY DATE WHO WAS JUST MY NEW ACQUAINTANCE TOLD ME, HMM...YOU HUH?YOU JUST LEFT ME LIKE THAT. BUT THE ONE WHO ARRIVED THAT I NEED TO ENTERTAIN WAS MY BF AND BECAUSE THE MUSIC WAS SO LOUD SO I JUST SIGNED TO HIM AS IF TO EXCUSE AND LEFT HIM FINDING ANOTHER DATE. AND I DIDN'T KNOW MY DATE WAS WAITING OR ME TO COME BACK THAT'S WHY HE WAS A BIT IRRITATED TO ME. AFTER THAT, I REALIZE THAT IT'S NOT GOOD TO ENTERTAIN PEOPLE JUST LIKE THAT AND BAD IF YOU'RE CAUGHT BY YOUR BF W/ ANOTHER GUY. YOU MUST BE GUILTY ESPECIALLY IF YOU CAN'T FIND TIME TO IMMEDIATELY EXPLAIN HOW AND WHY. AND I WOULD NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO ME OF COURSE BEING LEFT. NO WAY.
