I'm sharing a flat with a resident Landlord. He has all his system set up, doesn't know much about technology and isn't keen on me interfeering with his hardware.
Yesterday I bought a Time Capsule, but it seems like the only way to configure it properly is to set it as the main WiFi base.
Is it possible for me to use it just as a hard disk -not a s a router- maintaining the WiFi connection? Or in other words have a WiFi external Hard Disk? Does anybody know how to do this?
Or is it that if I don't use it as a router, the WiFi won't work and the only way out is to wire it into my PowerBook G4 via Ethernet?
Thanks for any help I can get
