Question: Fantasy Sports: www.rotohog.com I'm new to fantasy sports. What is your take on this new fantasy sports site: www.rotohog.com?

Answer: The website rotohog.com looks fine, but I would stick to more established sites.

I have been playing fantasy baseball for almost a decade. I prefer yahoo's free game when playing for fun. If you are willing to ante up a little money, then yahoo's live stat tracker is really outstanding. I've also played in leagues on ESPN, MLB, and CBS, and my league-mates and I have returned to yahoo after trying other websites.

As for rotohog specifically, it looks fine. I think that newer sites often have bugs to work out, and therefore it's better to stick with established fantasy leagues. You'll have less scoring problems or other issues to worry about.

In terms of fantasy information and player updates, I find that no website can compare to http://www.rotoworld.com/. I see that rotoworld endorses rotohog, and that's a really good sign since rotoworld is considered by many to be THE authority on baseball opinion and player updates.

If you are going to try and win money in a public league, then I would strongly suggest going with a site or company with a solid track record. There's no reason to go with rotohog until there is proof of payment.

I hope this helps.

It's hard to say being as though I haven't played a season on this new site, but I'm a big fan of all the Yahoo Fantasy stuff. It's pretty easy, there's a ton of info, and it works well. I guess I'm going to have to give Rotohog a try though.
