Sounds good. Nice to see positive action within 2

weeks. If many AVers don't like BQs and ignore them today, then the changes will take away the rewards for answering them...making weekly Gold performance more equitable and AVers even less likely to answer BQs. How do BQs help AV if no one answers them? I must have misunderstood something.

Bonus questions were a bad idea when they were introduced,

and they have remained a bad idea. This initiative is the first step away from backing off of Bonuses. Personally, I would have dropped them altogether, but I'll settle for fairness that this should introduce.

Your next step: get rid of the people who post 10 Sudoku puzzles every day, earning a gold piece for each, but not contributing to the spirit of exchange.

Many people have been working for a long time answering

Bonus Questions. Now with little warning, the management team arbitrarily and capriciously announces that they are no longer going to be recognized with valuable quest gold and experience points.

Talk about a slap in the face to those of us who have been answering the Bonus Questions! Thanks fellers, we like you too!

I'm just going to hang around for a few more days to see if the management team sobers up and reconsiders what they are doing.

If they don't, I'm outta here!

I love the Bonus Questions because you can answer questions without the petty squabbles of the rest of the place. Plus, very rarely are there active discussions boards.

It appears to me that Askville is regressing rapidly. Fortunately, when it finally dies, I'll be gone!

This is a truly wonderful development. But I'm certainly

going to miss reading all those stupid questions about where I can get coupon codes for everything under the sun, not to mention those that ask if my neighbor would bleed if I hit him with a rolled up blanket or something equally inane. Maybe this place will be back to being the fun it was before the Bogus questions! Thank you!!!!
