I have edited an article already there, but haven't written my own.  I was just browsing it, and saw a product that I recently purchased and so edited the article already there with some additional info that I've learned about the product in the article.  It was pretty easy to do--just start typing.  I'm not sure how Amazon monitors what people write, as it would seem like people could write anything they want, even things that aren't true. I assume there is some kind of monitoring of the site going on.

I don't see how it yet can be very helpful as far as purchasing Amazon things. It seems like its almost been abandoned by Amazon, as I dont' see too much going on there. I find the customer reviews on the Amazon site more appealing to me.

It seems good, but I admit, I am not sure I know what the difference between Amapedia and the product reviews on Amazon are going to be.

awarulz, regarding your answer "I have checked it our, but have not yet participated": I couldn't figure that out, either. I think I prefer the amazon format, but that may be just because I'm used to it.
