The closest they ever came to releasing a "greatest hits" album was 1986's "Who Made Who" album which did contain the newly recorded title track and which also served as the soundtrack to the Stephen King movie, Maximum Overdrive. This album contains a the title track which was a hit, as well as well known songs such as "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Sink the Pink", "Hells Bells" and "For Those About to Rock...We Salute You."
In my opinion, if you were to only include one AC/DC album, you should probably get 1980's seminal "Back in Black". It is considered by most rock fans to be one of the greatest albums in all of rock and roll history. It includes the title track, "Hells Bells", "Shoot to Thrill", "Givin' The Dog a Bone", "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Have a Drink on Me" and "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" among a few other crowd pleasers. It was the first album released without original lead singer Bon Scott, and served as a tribute to their fallen leader. It introduced new singer Brian Johnson who has been with the band ever since. It is the most popular AC/DC album, the second best selling album of all time, and the best selling album of all time by a band. Rolling stone ranked it as the #26 album of the 1980s, and #73 on it's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
Your other really good option would be the 1992 Live album, which comes in a single disc set with 14 songs, or a 2 disc set with 23 songs and contains live versions of most of the popular songs from Who Made Who and Back in Black, along with live versions of older AC/DC gems like "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "TNT", along with newer songs from later albums such as "Moneytalks" and "Thunderstruck".
Another really good option would be the 1976 album "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" which is probably the most popular of the albums recorded with Bon Scott, and which contains not only the title track but crowd favorites such as "Love at First Feel", "Problem Child", "Rocker", and of course the song destined to get the most play on your jukebox "Big Balls".
All that said, I'd say your best bet, if you can only put one CD on, go with Back in Black if you want the one that will please the most people, or the 1 disc Live album if you want the one with the most hits (albeit they will be live versions and not the originals people are used to). If you can see your way to having 2 CDs, pick Back in Black and Dirty Deeds, since essentially you really need two discs to do justice to AC/DC considering they had two distinct phases to their career with two different singers, this gives you the most "balance", or 2nd best with this scenario is going to be the 2 disc live set as you get old and new songs, but all will be live and sung by only one of the singers.
Overall though, you can't go wrong with Back in Black...most people who are into AC/DC don't really care much about "hits" as much as the whole album. Most AC/DC fans know ever second, every guitar lick, every nook and cranny of this album, and I'd suspect this would probably earn you the most change. This is of course from my perspective, and from having grown up in the 80s, having seen AC/DC live and having all of their albums, and having known many people who are into them, I think if you asked most people, at least the ones I know, which one AC/DC album they'd take to a deserted album, it would be Back in Black. For my money, no jukebox is complete without it.
